Has it really only been on shimmer and podcastle? Did you release another story in this world? Sorry it's just when I heard the intro I know I've heard this before years ago like before the pandemic and it's itching my brain trying to figure out where. Thank you for the wonderful writing

Yes, it was in Shimmer in 2017 and at PodCastle sometime after that (still pre-pandemic I think!). But maybe you're thinking of "The Last Eagle" in Clarkesworld in 2019?
