I hold a BA in Theatre from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (2002-2007), a MRes in Drama (Distinction) from Royal Holloway, University of London (2007-2008), and a MA in Religion from the University of Chicago (2008-2010). I recently completed a PhD in Media & Cultural Studies at SOAS, University of London (2010-2015). My research, for which I spent fifteen months conducting fieldwork in Bali, Indonesia, brings cultural studies to bear on live and televised Balinese theatre and its audiences. I was Visiting Lecturer at the University of Portsmouth, UK (2015-2016) and at the University of Exeter, UK (2018). I am currently a full-time writer and the dramaturge of Adrift Performance Makers (@AdriftPM).
